My BIG boy!!!

Yes we are trying to grow his hair out and it is hysterical!

Koen is such a big boy! Today we had his 18 month appointment! Can you believe it? In just 2 days my little baby is going to be 18 months. I cant beleive it, the last year and a half has flown by. As most of you probably know Koen is not a snuggler, but right now he has a cold which makes him a little bit more mellow. Last night he was having a hard time sleeping and so after about 45 min I went in there and just held him...he totally snuggled. One of those precious mom moments. I love him SO much. I feel like all day long I am like "Koen mom loves you so much" He is probably like I get it! haha! He is just so dang cute. Anyway so in the last month and a half since his last Dr appt, he gained 3 lbs~! wahoo, that brings him up to 24 lbs and the 25 percentile! He is also 33 3/4 inches which is the 70th percentile. I cant believe how big he is getting.

Washington DC! For Thanksgiving Nate, Gina, Kade and our fam headed to my Aunts house outside of DC. We have wanted to go there for a while and this is the only break that Phil and Nate have the same so we said "Lets do it" WE headed out Wednesday evening and stayed until sunday! We didnt get to see nearly as much as we wanted to, seeing how two toddlers are not the funnest travel companions. All in all though it was a way fun trip with and awesome thanksgiving feast all compliments to my aunt who insisted we do nothing but site see. What a great vay*K!
