Easter 2014

Saturday we egg hunted with out neighborhood and then with Riverton city! Much candy to be had by all!

#becauseofhim we'll all be together as family one day. And that mean seeing this little dude again.
Over Easter this year the church put out an amazing video

It was so cool looking at all things hastaged with #beacuseofhim. I feel so blessed and happy that because of him I will be with my family forever. Because of him Pierce will be able to breathe again with a perfect body. Because of him we will be able to see and live with Pierce and other loved ones again. Because of him we are able to be forgiven of our sins and try harder the next day. Because of him I get to be with my best friend forever!

We had such a great Easter. We have early church so we had to be on top of it to get through our Easter baskets and get to church on time. We had the kids get ready first and it worked out great!

After church we visited the cemetery. And then had an Easter egg hunt in the backyard.
We did dinner with my family that evening. There Koen was privileged to learn the truth about the Easter bunny and all his friends from a cousin. I may have cried. Why does it go so fast? They're only wee little ones for such a short time.

Myla {6th month}

Oh I know I keep saying it but PLEASE STOP GROWING!!! I have loved months 3-6 so much! I seriously want to keep reliving them over and over!!!

-Ditched the bink the day she turned 5 months. I decided if I were to ever have more kids I wouldn't even try. I am not a binki parent, it isn't for me. haha I can't do the give it to them all night thing. She had a rough week and then was good.

-we've been doing sock on her hands to keep her from forming a finger sucking soothing habit. I'm happy to report she is self soothing without a sucking crutch! ya!

-First solid food on St Patty's day 3/17. Smashed up fresh cooked carrot. She actually loved it. Since we have tried sweet potato once and baby cereal twice. Not a huge fan of either of those and I am not a huge fan of spoon feeding babies so...I wouldn't really say we've fully started solids.

-rolled over back to belly April 2nd. I have yet to see it but keep finding her on her belly after I walk away for a minute. She is really moving around lots! She can't get anywhere she really wants to yet but she is definitely wiggling!

-she recently got a pretty bad cold. This is the second time she has been sick. We had a pretty good stretch there for a few months. She has been really congested and not sleeping or eating super great. :(

-still eats every 4 hours and during the day (7,11,3) and then gets in two feeds before bed usually around 6 and 8.

-Oh, the doting...she never gets old.

-waking up one time at night still. However I am thinking she is ready to drop it because she isn't eating in the morning. Mostly just skipping that feed all together, which makes me think she may not need the night one. Hopefully so!

-finally had to go for the all out shave. The trims weren't cutting it and the bald spot is growing in so it was time to even it all out! 3/26

-took formula for the first time this month. She has done it 2 or 3 times when my supply is low after my long runs. It kinda backs her up for a bit after so I stopped taking the easy route and started thawing some of my gazillion ounces in the freezer. ;)
-grabs at everything! Loving toys, hair, jewelry and the balloon at the dentist office!
-still loves to suck on those hands when she is awake....and it sure is cute!

-love this girl!

-Painted nails!!!!
A couple days before she turned 6 months we were hanging out in the circle with some neighbors and thought how cute it would be to paint sis's nails! Holy adorable!

What's up Doc?

I haven't done a post about what we have been up to lately....maybe that's because things have been a little crazy around here! Here's what's been going on!

*Jazz game. Phil and Koen used Ko's junior Jazz tickets to go see a game with Skip and the boys!
*Baseball has started and is in full swing. We are currently living at the ball fields 3-4 times a week. I'd be lying if I didn't say I really really really hope one of my boys really loves baseball!!! Go Phillies!

*Grandparent day at school. Neither of Koen's grandma's were able to attend and I wasn't there either so it was a total boys event! So glad he had both his grandpa's there and his Dad! Cute boy!

*Scrapaway! One of my fav places! It was def not how I planned, having little miss Myla there! I didn't get anything done! lol At least she's cute! :) I had a good time chatting with friends though, that's for sure! We even got to celebrate Stacie's birthday!

*While I was away Phil took the boys to the Safe kids fair! I love that he always wants to be going and doing with them! Mr Kade even got to tag along!

*Riverton Half Marathon- my come back! haha I always said while I was prego that Riverton would be my comeback half marathon. I only had two goal: finish under 2 hours and not feel sick. I did both! I have been having a hard time getting my nutrition down for these longer runs. Nursing is throwing me off! 1:56:02    8:51 per mile. It is for sure taking some time to gain my speed back. :/ Love my fans!

*Phil left for 2 weekends in a row to St George! He went for UPHA convention and then on a boys week with his brothers! Gave him some good practice time on his Iron Man course!

*Les Mis at Hale Center! The girls and I decided to go see this play! It was wonderful just as I had heard! Thanks mother dearest for keeping the kiddos!

*We visited my sister for the weekend while I was rolling single parent style! We love to go stay, and my sister is the best hostess! We got our craft on!

*I have a new nephew and a new niece. Mr Max is super adorable and look at his little man outfit! I love new babies! I haven't got to meet little Harper yet, I am fighting a stinking cold.

*Off track time! Ko is off track for a whole month! We are enjoying our break from school and routine!

*Training like crazy! For both Phil and me! His half Iron Man is just a few weeks away and a couple friends and myself are doing a relay for it, so I've been trying to keep my running up.
