10 year anni trip!!! Southern Caribbean part 3

Friday:
We arrived in St Kitts. We had talked to a few workers on the boat and they had all recommended going over to Nevis. I am so glad we did. I didn't get to see a ton of St Kitts, but what I saw wasn't super appealing. :) It is off season in the Caribbean so the beach where our taxi driver took us was literally deserted! We had an amazing day there. The boys snorkeled, we enjoyed the beautiful water, sand and sun and we had an amazing lunch at the beach/resort.

After the ferry ride back we shopped around a little bit and held the monkeys that were all over. Seriously, people everywhere wanting you to hold their monkeys. haha This guy basically threw his monkey on us and then asked for $10. um, no, here is $3. :) The most hilarious part was that he kept yelling at his monkey to "sit yo ass down" I couldn't stop laughing about it.
I'm writing this too much later to remember what we did at night. :( The just of things though was dinner and generally the comedy club. With late dining and all day excursions we were pretty much ready for bed after(if not before) dinner!
Saturday
We had another VERY busy day in St Maarten! The first desired stop of many (not me at all) was a french pastry place. (I do not love pastries) So we found a taxi driver to make our buddy for the day and we were off. At the pastry shop they offered wifi, so we all hopped on to check in.
Next up was some shopping. Last place to get souvenirs. Brook and I found us a little shop with some diet coke. The soda on the ship SUCKS. I honestly don't even think I'd buy it again. No bueno. Then we even located a McDonalds, unfortunately it wasn't that great either! :(
We knew we wanted to go to airport beach but at this time of year it isn't much of a beach, more so just some rocks. So we stopped by grabbed the times for the flights to come in and our taxi guy took us to an amazing beach. This was probably my most favorite beach of the whole trip. It was GORGEOUS! We didn't have long to stay there, which I wish I could have spent the day.

Then we headed back to airport beach to see the flights come in. We were able to see quite a few and do the jet blasting(hanging on to the fence as the plane takes off and blasts you) it was really super cool. We ended up hiring this lady that was walking around offering to take pictures. It was so awesome because we all got a ton of pictures and everyone got to be in them and it was super cheap.

Seriously so much fun! After leaving there we headed back to the boat. That night we had to pack up, because tomorrow we were headed home. :(
Sunday morning we got off the ship first thing and by 11 were on our way back home! We had such an amazing time. We owe a huge thank you to my parentals who kept my daily duties a float. I am sure they were exhausted by the end! And to Missy, and Gina who finished off the week for us. I have some fabulous family we are so nice to help us out so we can do such fun things!!!!

10 year anni trip!!! Southern Caribbean part 2

Tuesday
This was our only sea day! It was nice to be off the boat so much but at the same time I look forward to the rest and relaxation of the sea days. Carnival offers a big brunch on their sea days so we hit that up first thing.
We spent most of the day on the top deck enjoying the sun and the band.

This night was our first formal night. This is one thing I love on cruises. I feel like as a mom you don't get to get dressed up and go out and just look hot! lol I lovd getting dressed up, wearing heels, and not dragging kids around. ;)

Wednesday
We were in BARBADOS. This is somewhere I have wanted to go since way back when "friends" went there for Ross's paleontology conference. haha Our excursion was set for the afternoon so we got off and headed downtown to do some shopping.

Our excursion was swimming with turtles and snorkeling a ship wreck. It was really fun. The turtles where awesome and we got to see quite a few up close. Then we snorkeled the ship wreck. At the end we got to spend a little time on a beautiful beach. This whole trip was one beautiful beach after another, just the way I like it.

When we got back to the boat we were freezing from the AC on board. Lo, Brook and I headed to the sauna to warm up and when we came back we found Skip and Phil passed out watching the movie on the lido deck.
When we headed out to dinner we walked out our door and Steve and Laura walked out theirs at the same time...it was pure laughter....for reals? ahhahah
Brook and I had a grand time taking silly pictures at one of the photo stops....
 dinner time

Thursday
This was our big busy day in ST LUCIA. We did a tour through Cosal and it was awesome because it gave us a great over view of the island. First we drove around the island making stops for picture and visiting a banana plantation.

We went and ate a St Lucian breakfast and then took a boat ride over to Sugar beach which was gorgeous and had a great view of the Pitons.
We spent an hour or so at the beach and then were off to the mudd bath. It totally reminded me of the Bachleor when Jake and Vienna went there. It smelled super stinky by the volcano but luckily once you got down to the water and the mudd it wasn't as strong. We got in a hot tub of water and then got out and spread the mudd all over. It was crazy how smooth and soft the skin felt after.

After a quick ride we arrived at a beautiful waterfall. We swam around in way chilly water (especially compared to the HOT tub we had been in before!)

On the way back to the ship we were able to stop and have some lunch. It was really cute, they had bread and cheese for us. We all were thinking that was a random thing but it was SO good. It was like hot fresh bread with yummy cheese! Yes please. Then we stopped by an awesome overlook spot and got a great pic. They had no diet coke on this excursion but at this stop our guide was able to find us a few and it was Ah-mazing!!!
Perfect day!!!
This was our other formal night. We asked the boys to take a pic of us out on the deck and when Phil said 3 we all surprised them with sassy poses... again and again... We laughed and laughed!

Showtime: I kinda think this was the night I couldn't keep my eyeballs open to watch the juggler! Busy days and lots of time in the sun! I was WORN OUT! So much fun!
