Belly Blog

Well I am getting as large as a house. Haha really though I have been feeling it the last few weeks. I just feel really large! And with a little less than two months of pure growth, its only bound to get LARGER! These pics are today, at almost 32 weeks. Koen thought it was really fun that I was timing a pic and wanted to run back and forth with me into the pic.

Overall I am still feeling pretty good:
-Surprisingly minimal heart burn controlled by tums every few days ( I was on prevacid long before this point with Koen)
-My Doc said my weight gain is excellent(15 lbs, thus far) which of course makes me feel good especially cause I am a little paranoid about it, and I'm measuring right on.
-My feet swelled for the first time on Easter, joy. No more heels for me.
-Still fitting in my regular jeans, some buttoned some with an elastic.
-My doc asked if I wanted to schedule my c-section last appt...which was weird. A- I am trying a v-bac and B- that just makes it seem really soon.
-People stare at me at school...haha maybe I just think there are, but for some reason I think going to school large and in charge like so is SO embarrassing.
-Poor baby boy still has no name, we are struggling. I feel bad for him, and really hope he comes home from the hospital with one, otherwise I will feel REALLY bad.
-Having braxton hicks a couple times a day, which I never had with Ko. Kinda fun.
-Overall ready to bend over AND breath at the same time, and ready to be skinny again.

Pregnancy subsequent times is over rated... haha, why cant it always be new and excited. Last time I remember being like "Oh I feel so great, this is so great" etc etc etc. Ummm...really, I think that was like first time bliss. It isnt all it is cracked up to be. haha Although last time I remember people asking me around this time "Oh are you just so ready for the little guy to come out?" and I would always say "No he is fine where he is" I think I knew that would be a HUGE adjustment and life change, and he was so easy to take care of in there. This time I am SO excited for the little guy to get here, to have a new little baby to snuggle and dress up. Cant wait to see what he looks like and smooch his little face.

Wow Easter Weekend!

We had a very eventful Easter week/weekend. Here is the top 10 from the festivities: (not in order of amount liked, but chronologically.)

10.A new niece in time for Easter:
Lydia Esther Lovell

9. Ava's Easter Party-On Thursday Stacey had a little Easter Party for the kiddos. Stacey is so great to always plan things, really I cant wait till I have a house again and that is an option like it use to be. The kids had fun decorating Easter sacks to collect eggs in and eating lunch.
Koen with his Easter bag full of eggs
Self portrait, too bad I am in serious need of lip stuff.
My child has seriously got the most one track mind ever, he didn't even want to hunt for eggs cause he just wanted to ride this police car, anyone remember Christmas Party at Angies...same thing.
Finally searching out some eggs
So excited about his findings. I loved that he found a football egg, picked it up and chucked it. Isn't that what you do with footballs?

8-Visiting the Easter Bunny:Cant really beat a free visit to the Easter at Walmart can ya?

7-Scrapbooking the nights away with my mom and sis: I finished quite a few pages including all my pages for our page swap. YAHOO!

6-Neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt:We rolled everyone out of bed for a little trip for eggs around the neighbors yard.
Ready to find some eggs.
Lucy, Koen and Claire
Probably the only egg he actually picked up, he would find them and be like, "mom will you put that egg in my basket?" After I told him no, he asked Libby.

4-Playing with Grandpa and Grandma: The kids had the best time wrestling with grandpa and also having story time. Grandma helped the kids make Easter Sugar cookies! Yum!

3-Dying Easter Eggs
: We decked the kids out in Grandpa's old work shirts to save their clothes and they were off. They loved it and surprisingly weren't too messy.

Phil and my dad enjoyed drawing faces on their eggs.
Koen decided he wanted to eat an egg, but forgot to peal it.
Him showing me his blue lips from eating his egg, looks like he needs a smooch to me!
So happy
Proud of his eggs Grandpa drew faces on, one Mater one bunny
Distraught that he bonked them together and cracked his bunny.

2-Easter Morning: The Easter Bunny hid Koen's basket upstairs with his cousins, so I woke up to him and Whitley telling me that the Easter Bunny left Koen some cars that he wants really bad, I guess he had made his way up there himself. After we checked out the baskets, we had to find the eggs the Easter Bunny hid around our house!
Found his Easter basket. He was really into the "specialty" eggs. He had concurred up a way of trading Claire for her Spider Man egg from the neighborhood hunt all day on Saturday and finally got her to trade for a bag of skittles,(in the car on the way home from the swimming pool he was in the back saying "If I give Claire this Gummy candy and the Easter egg with the eyes closed she'll say "yes Koen Phillip Olsen you can have my Spider Man egg" Unfortuanltey that wasn't the winning deal, too cute that he was back there thinking it up though) needless to say when he saw a Cars egg in his basket he was stoked.
Playing with his Brand New Mater and Snod Rod, with a little treat in his mouth!
He is still so into Cars but was also super excited to find this motorcycle.
Cool New Shades
Nothing like a bunch of junk in the backyard to hide eggs in.
Cute little plummers crack
Libs is finding some
Cute kids, especially Koen's belly shirt.
So proud
Koen and me ready for church, actually this was after church. We got all ready with time to get out and take some pics in our new church outfits, and then Koen had to poo. And for some reason this takes my 2 year old at least 15 minutes of straight chillen on the potty, Whatever. So no family pictures for us. Phil however looked very handsome in his new tie~Ü

1-Spending the day with family: After church we went to my brothers for dinner and had fun there with everyone. We even got to stop in and see Phils parents after. Happy Birthday Nana(Phil's Mom), who shared her day with Easter.
Nanna(Jen's Grandma), Ky(my brother), Dad, Claire and Koen
The kiddos loved the love sack and "super jumping" onto it.

It was a really busy weekend but we had a lot of fun spending time with family. I love that we got to teach the little sunbeams in church about the true meaning of Easter and take time to think about our Savior Jesus Christ and his sacrifice and resurrection for us! What a great gift! Hope you all had a great Easter too!
