December Randoms

Brigs has really loved being a big brother! He takes every opportunity to be with Myla...right in her face, be with her. He loves when I let him take a bath with her, hold her and play with her. It is mostly cute to watch him be soooo sweet to her. Always telling her how cute she is and tickeling/squeezing her! This month for the first time he picked Koda up. He was so so proud saying "look Dad, my first time!"

Koen has been a tooth losing fool! He currently has no top teeth and was truly able to sing "all I want for Christmas is my two front teeth!" So cool. He has been a little on the greedy side asking the tooth fairy for rather large amounts of money, luckily she has put him in his place, with much smaller amounts. :)

Merry Christmas 2013

We enjoyed a low key super quick Christmas morning....our kids have never opened their presents sooo fast! And of course they did it the year we tried (and succeeded) to not go overboard! haha It was great though. Lucky for us our kids don't get up super early so 8ish it was!

After opening presents and eating a little breakfast the kids got to enjoy there new Christmas gifts for a bit before heading over to Phil's parents. There we ate lunch, did presents, and did the Nativity for the first time. I think the kids really loved it.

A little later in the evening we decided to head to my parents for dinner. We wanted to stop by and see them since they had such a low key Christmas with my Dad's recent surgery. It was fun to spend some time with them and my brother Ky's family. After we headed home and cute Brigy fell asleep jammin out with his new headphone. :) Koen had a lovely minecraft Christmas...crazy creeper!

Christmas Eve

A few years back we started having Christmas Eve with my best friends! It is so fun and something I look forward too. When I was young we always had Christmas Eve with my Mom and Dad's best friends family and I remember thinking it was the best. I hope my kids enjoy this tradition too.

This year Stacie hosted. How fun to have a photo booth?!?! The kids (and adults alike) had way too much taking picture after picture! We had dinner and all brought a craft or game to do, even though we only got through 2 or 3...next year we will have to start at noon! lol

We also let the kids draw names for each other this year which was super fun for them! We have the best friends!

When we got home the kids set out the cookies they decorated, poured Santa a cup of chocolate milk and wrote him a quick note telling him Merry Christmas!

Holy cuteness! Brigs Christmas program for school was to die for! Their little reindeer faces and the cute songs they sang, ahhh too cute! Love this little boy so much and that darn dimple.... His favorite part...."we wish you a merry christmas" with his kazoo!

A Lovell Christmas

We celebrated a tad early this year with my family because my Dad was having hip surgery and we needed to do it prior to this. My family party is one of my most favorite traditions! It is always jam packed with fun! This year instead of doing our traditional Gingerbread houses we made Santa's sleighs! I love that Koen made his into like a monster truck! He envisions a rather manly Santa! Lol

We also had the usuals of Christmas carols, bells, the scripture story and presents. This year my sweet mother made all of the grandkids blankets! Talk about a lot of work since she has 16 grandkids! My boys absolutely love theirs! Looks like I slacked a bit in the picture dept. whoops.
