WHEN YOU'RE THE BEST OF FRIENDSTonight Annie and Tessa stopped by and all three of them climbed up there on the fence. I couldn't resist taking a pic. How cute are they? When everyone was walking away and I walked in my house I think I almost started to cry. I am gonna miss having my best friends so close by and I feel so bad for Koen that he is going to move away from his best friends and probably not going to understand why. I know we will both love being by family, but I am sad for these changes. Hopefully we can make some new best friends, but I will always miss the old ones. I love you my Erie Friends.
Milk and Mommy's bed
I was off doing something today when I heard Koen yell "Milk peese mom" I went in to find him all snuggled into my bed watching some show on Chinese culture on PBS. I told him I would get him some milk and asked him if he wanted me to turn on one of his shows and he said "No I watching this." So there he lays watching his China show and drinking his milk! Funny kid.

I use mawnmower

For about the past week Koen has been OBSESSED with lawnmowers(mawnmower) Last week when Phil mowed the lawn I guess Koen thought that was pretty cool so he started using the baby walk along toy as a lawnmower. Every day he would talk about how he was mowing the lawn and how he is going to help Grandpa mow the lawn when we move to Utah. He is very excited about that. "I use mawnmower" comes out of his mouth like ALL day long! Well the problem is I wouldn't let him take the walk along toy outside...I know I am a little OCD about toys and were they belong. I decided to take Ko over to Toys R Us and see if he would like a actual toy lawnmower. So we brought it home and when he woke up from his nap I put it together! HE PLAYED WITH THE THING FOR 3 HOURS STRAIGHT! Are you kidding me? This is my child who really doesn't play with toys! He loves it! He was so happy!

Please disregaurd our mess, I was doing CRAZY laundry before we sold our washer and dryer this weekend, and so I have TONS to fold!

Just barley I went in his room cause he was kicking the door, not normal these days(which YES he does sleep on a bed now! YAHOO!) and he was laying there with his blanket and the lawnmower! LOVE!
I also just have to write for my own journaling purposes that I LOVE this age. Maybe my child isn't in the terrible twos, but I just think he is so fun. He talks like crazy, is a very good listener, and more often than not obeys. I really feel like he is so much fun to be around! I am constanly kissing him and telling him he is so cute. I just think everything he says and does is adorable! The only thing that could make this time better is if he was potty trained!

Zoo...AGAIN! and Thanks Suzi!

So Brook and I meet up at the zoo this last week! Gotta get in my use of the zoo pass while it is still only 5 minutes away! Here are a few pics of the kids!

The boys ready for their train ride!

Casen and Koen on the carousel. Can you tell Koen loves that Cheetah? He rides it EVERY time!
And then other of Ko is from last time at the zoo...but can we say CUTE!

Ok my great friend Suzi, who is also pretty much the BEST seamstress I know did me a huge favor! I have had this bathing suit for like 5 years and love it, but have always felt a little self conscious of the chest area. Well I bought some swim fabric and Suzi sewed in the little white piece to give me more coverage! I am so excited about it! THANKS SUZI!

Last week...in review

Wow. It has been a little crazy getting back to normal life after camp. Blogging just hasn't even been a desire. haha. I feel like each day I have had something to do during my free from Ko time and I have usually choosen to take a nap, go out by myself or read Breaking Dawn. First about that. I am not done yet, I have been trying to read it slower as I am not sure I want it all to end. I am a little more than half way and so far thoughly enjoying it. (Dont worry Cicely I will read it all by next Thursday since you have now put a deadline on me! Ü) So here is the top 5 things from last week!
1-Going to the beach...this never ceases to make the list

KO Ko playin at the beach

Zaner man and Olivia...can I please have one of them, they are so cute!
Kassidy and Tessy! Cute little twiners!
2-Packing a few boxes with Phil's help. For some reason I refuse to go get the boxes out of the basement without Phil's help (that some reason being that I think there are spiders where the boxes are) Phil and I were able to get some things from the basement packed or re-packed. We have also sold A TON of our stuff, and are down to only bringing home our bedroom furniture, Koen's bedroom furniture and BOXES! YAHOO! Everyday I deal with the to pack or not to pack? I have decided I am just not really ready. I am not ready to take down my decorations and make this home of mine just a house again. I am not ready to say goodbye to Erie and my friends. Therefor I choose not to pack...haha at least the stuff that make my home a home, not yet anyway.
3-Koen's first experience with a lic a stick! So cute!

4-Nate, Gina and Kade coming up for the weekend. It had been WAY to long and was so good to see them. Too bad we didn't snap any pics of the boys!
5-Cafe Rio night. We had some of our friends over to have wanna be Cafe Rio. Good food, Good company...what is better?Suz, Levi and Nate Gina and Kade

Breaking Dawn whooot whoot!

So I was able to round up some peeps to go the Breaking Dawn party at Barnes and Noble. We left around 10:45, which in and of itself was wierd. I swear I haven't left to go somewhere at that time since high school! Anyway we just hung out and about 5 minutes before the release some of us lined up. We were in the VERY back, but once it hit 12:01 they had us turn around and there was another register and we were the FRONT of that line! It was awesome! I haven't read too much yet, but I sure cant wait to see what happens!top: Rachel, Kortni, Ali May, Emily, San, Cicely, Lisa front: Jen and me

From East to West Camp Foster is the BEST!

A little overview of my week at girls camp...
We left monday morning and got to camp around 11:00. It is on a couple in the stakes property, they have like 180 acres!~ WOW! It was really pretty there and was actually mostly what I expected. We had 6 girls go to camp and then there was always me and one of the women from the YW presidency.
It was such a fun/different experience. Some things where so the same, ie: skits, songs, awards, staying up late and some things so different, ie:SOOO much free time(which was nice cause I didn't have a lot of girls to keep track of), makeshift shower, canoeing, doing everything as a stake(there was only 40 girls for the whole stake)
It was deffinetly a good time. I got to know each of the girls, and enjoyed time being around the YW. I swear sometimes I did have to remind myself I was a leader not a camper, as did I have to let everyone else know(they were commonly misled by my 12 year old looks.)
Sam(love her, she was a 5th year) Me Larua, and Brook.
The whole shebang! I guess we had about 1 leader to every 1.5 girls! HAHA I totally feel like this looks like our group photo from Oackrest.
Leaders doing our skit/actions to " a boy and a girl in a little canoe" I am the moon!
Me, Rachel, Kort and Sam
The whole group under the ward flags. Minus Rachel who went home early!
Chels and I. She was recently baptized in January and camp was SO good for her struggling testimony. It is people like her who make you glad you do stuff like this!
The group again, in our camp shirts, with our flag! The two extra leaders were Stake camp directors from our ward!
Nichelle, Elizabeth and Chelsea. More of our girls!
Sam and Rachel. They made it a good time by dressing crazy!
Our skit. We were cheerleaders and did cheers/songs about things from the strength of youth. Like "Dating YA dont ya know, 16 years old"
You'll have to click on this to see, but we did the whole sit on someone so their legs look like they are yours and we sang this song Kortni found to the tune of "I like big butts" It is funny it goes...
"I like big shirts and I can not lie, you other girls cant deny
when a girl walks in with a little bitty shirt, and a tiny little mini skirt
you yell GROSS, get a bigger one, one that covers your tum!"
Everyone loved our skit, and I think the girls had a lot of fun doing it!
Some of our girls tying their flip flops!
Me and Kort, cheesin our greasy selves!
I don't have any pics of canoeing, but Sam and I canoed together and were like a mile ahead the whole time. I swear it made me want to like train to be a canoer! haha Anyway so fun, but so happy to be home and be done!
