Apparently a little smarty pants. Phil has been studying for a counseling competition at school for the past week, which occurred today. All the students who participated had to learn up on 5 different prescription drugs and then when it came time for the comp they would draw one of the drugs out of a hat and have to council a pretend patient(a professor) in front of three judges. Phil won first place!!!
After he had the comp he came home with his friend Steve and they were telling me and Laura(Steve's wife) all about it. Then Phil looked on his email and had got an email saying congrats! He and Steve have been studying together and Steve took second place. Congrats boys! He will now go to San Diego for the National Counseling Competition. He also won $100, dinner gift certificates, a book to study for his boards and a software for his phone! Like I said who is he? He will definitely be the Pharmacist you will want to visit!
****EDIT**** I thought I should add on here for those who have inquired and will, No I will not be going with him. We have debated around about making a little trip for Spring Break, but we would have to pay for me which is just not conducive. So nope! Phil will be rollin free style!

Ummmm...I am completely speechless right now! YAHOO! GO PHIL!! I am so proud of you! Oh my gosh, you are so smart I can't even believe it! You deserve every second of this recognition becuase you work so hard. When do you fly out to San Diego? Do you get to go with him Lesh?
