BOY!
My mom and Koen came with me to the doctors this morning for my ultrasound, because Phil could not get off his rotation. We are having a boy, loud and clear. It was funny cause the tech was like "do you want to know the sex?" and I said "yes" so she scrolled down and we both said "oh...boy" Not shy. I wouldn't have really been surprised either way, because I had no idea. There were definitely reasons for wanting both, but I feel like the best way I can put it is: If I got to choose I would want a boy because it is the exact season as Koen(so I have all the stuff) and I know I want another boy so why not have them closer in age BUT I wish I could have the guarantee of a girl next time. I would be really sad if I never have a girl. So I would have liked a girl mostly so I wouldnt have to stress next time. Ü
Anway we have a healthy little brother and Koen couldn't be more excited. Anway we have a healthy little brother and Koen couldn't be more excited. Phil called when we were leaving and I handed the phone to Koen and said "say hi to dad" and he said "Hi dad, I getting a brother!" So cute. I really cant believe that A-I am going to have 2 kids and B- I am going to have 2 boys....yikes!

Congrats!!! How fun to have 2 little guys running around together. They are going to be best buds. And, so great that you already have the clothes, etc. Cute pics too, but I have to say, you definitely look preggers, not chubbers!

congratulations! That is so exciting to finally be able to see the baby--that made it more real for me. I feel the exact same way-I want a girl sometime obviously, but i wouldn't mind a boy next for Tate to play with, so they can be buds.

Oh and about the chubby thing-yeah right!! You could never look chubby. You are sooo tiny!! I do remember the first time a lady at the store asked me if I was having a boy or a girl. I was so excited someone could tell I was having a baby and not just fat that I thanked her! haha
Yeah for having another boy. From experience in having two of the same gender in a row, I love it! We are in the same pressure boat as you are in with producing a third child that is the other gender of what we have now. I had to roll my eyes when you said you looked chubby. You look amazing! I wish I was your brand of chubby. You seriously look fabulous! I was delighted to Dr. L's name on the ultrasound. Yay yay for you! And yes we do need to get together.

Okay so that pic is hallarious of his legs wide open...Maybe he is going to be your wild child after Mild Ko! And I am glad that you are doing the boy thing too, for the mear fact that you have the stuff, but You know I think it is funny when people say they will be best buds...all you can do is hope! I know you know what I am talking about...oh and I commented on a few posts back just so you know! Love you sis...I will be rooting for a girl next time because for some reason I feel a little pressure to have all the girls in the lovell family...but for now I am excited for boy #2...now name him please so I don't have to call him that any more!

Love your cute lil belly. I hate that stage where you don't look prego, just chubby...Or in my case, I look prego AND chubby the whole time! Now you know why I'm afraid to do that again!

Yay, that is awesome that you are having a boy! I know what you mean about a girl though. I told Dan we are going to have to adopt if we don't get one. Be happy you are at the stage you are. I have two weeks left and it is painful. I can hardly walk, (and I have gained 40lbs and seem to be gaining 1 lb a day) - Congrats again!!!
Yeah for boys!! Our guy wasn't shy either. So when is your due date? Your little ticker says you are almost 19 weeks but I am like 25 and I thought we were almost overlapping. Oh... and you do not look one ounce chubby! You look adorable!
So funny! I love that we are in the exact situation!! :) Except you boys and me girls :) I know, we were keeping our fingers crossed for a boy, since it will be our last biological child, but we are excited of course for the girl. Your belly is sooo cute! You would die if you saw mine! Ha, not so cute. I look like I have been beat! I have bruises all over my tummy and sides from my shots, so it really wouldn't have been pretty :) We should go swimming again soon! Mia had so much fun and that pool was so warm!
Alesha I'm so dang excited for you! They WILL be buddies if you instill that in them, help them know how much they love each other. Keagan adores Ryker and was the first person Ryker smiled at. :) I'm totally with ya on the wanting a girl next time though, you and me both. You are such a cute prego, I luv the belly!
Is it weird that in the ultrasound picture I can already see a resemblance between him and Koen? He is going to fit RIGHT in the family. Seriously...he already looks like your child. Miss ya!

Really.... I am comment #42, are you really going to ever get this?? Can I just tell you that today we had a little Valentine Party and Max asked if Koen was coming! So sad! He still thinks you are vacationing in Utah! HA HA. But, the best of all was that in the mail today he had a special valentine from Koen! He was thrilled! YOu are to good! Thanks Koen! We miss you!
