Christmas Eve-low key

This year Christmas Eve was really low key. We stayed at our house and had my parents over. I made a roast with potatoes and carrots and rolls & my mom brought a salad. We ate and then we played a couple games with Koen(Uno Moo, and Cars matching) Then we roasted smores with our smore maker.

Koen thought it was really funny to close his eyes...haha not...lol

Then we decided to bust out the wii fit for some fun! It was a good laugh and a great time!

Koen loved watching Grandpa. We all took a turn, even my mom. She was kickin our butts at one of the games.

Koen was so tired from the time we finished dinner, so we got him ready for bed at 8ish. He made sure to leave Santa some cookies and milk. He thought Santa needed 4 even though I explained to him that ALL the kids leave Santa cookies and he didn't need that many. He also told me he was sure Santa would like chocolate milk better.

Koen loves to pretend he is a car. So when I took him up to bed he ran in the bathroom, and "gased up" behind the shower curtain. When he came out he said "those guys gave me gas AND OIL, Santa will for sure see them tonight" I love his imagination.
Then Ko and I read his little book about Jesus' birth. I asked him what was gonna come next in the story and he said "Jesus is gonna get born. Does Mary have a big owie like you?" (gotta love that c-section scar. )Little cutie.
I had to wake Brigs up, he pretty much slept through the festivities, to change him into his jammies and he was sooo sad. I love his sad face.
My dad was super tired so they left soon after I put Koen down. After I got Brigs to bed Phil and I watched Beyond a Reasonable Doubt while I worked away....Santa style. Filling stockings, unwrapping, assembling toys and putting in batteries kept me busy!

Thanks for coming over mom and dad it was a fun night with you two!

I did not do a very good job taking pics on Christmas morning, but I will post what I got when I get some pics from Phil's parents house that day.

Hope you all had a Merry Christmas!!!

Koen looks HUGE on the Wii! I love B's 1st Christmas hat. Very cute! And my child has an unusual amount of hair, so I don't think that Brigs is abnormal. When can you get together? Come to my house sometime this week. Or I'll come see your new place whenever. Text me.
