Half Way

Well I am more than half way done with my pregnancy at this point (especially considering I will do a planned c-section at least a week early this time)
I had the big ultrasound yesterday. It was fun to see the little man playing around in there. He is indeed still a boy and a very healthy looking one at that. It is always relieving to have that ultrasound and know things are looking right and good. Here are a few pics of Baby P. Some are from when we went to Fetal Studios. He got better "it's a boy" shots.
I love this one because you can see all his little fingers and thumb up by his face.

As for me and this pregnancy it has been less than my favorite. ;) Everything has been intensified. I don't know if thats because it is number 3( or 5 if you count miscarriages) or what but I was nauseous everyday for the whole first trimester + some and even threw up. So not the case with either of the others. Then I went straight to heartburn! It is the worst. I had it terrible with Koen and only a handful of times with Brigs. Luckily it only lasted a week and I haven't had it regularly since. phew.  I have also been exhausted, I thought that left in the 2nd trimester?!

Things are on the up now. Although still feeling tired I am starting to get out of the "chubby" phase and starting to feel good most of the time. Still stressing a little about my current baby still being a baby when the "new baby" comes. Whether to keep him in a crib, move him to a bed, hoping he learns to talk(lessening the current screaming), decides he doesn't want to be lugged around all day etc.

Which reminds me I also decided having kids closer together is not for me. ;) So far for the sole reason of lugging B around with my growing belly is just really uncomfortable. So is bending over at church to 1-get him stuff out of my bag (14 times) 2- pull him out from under the bench. lol Also going up the stairs while carrying him about does me in for the day. You'd think I'd just ran a half with the way my heart is pounding and how out of breath I am. oh the joys!

I have been feeling movement for about 3 weeks. He isn't as wild as my others were...yet. I hardly notice him until the evening, maybe I'm just preoccupied. :) I had Phil take this picture of me two weeks ago after church. It is the only one I have taken so far. I had to move my scarf so you could see "the bump" I should have moved it back for the pic with Koen. eek :)

PS I have gained 3 lbs so far and I think they have all gone straight to my face. How pleasant.

You have only gained 3 lbs? OMG that is something that is going right with the pregnancy.

You are lucky that you get to be pregnant (even if it is a boy).

Love your dress.

You look absolutley darling. I wish I looked half as cute as you when I am pregnant:) And to answer your question, I was 22 weeks with River when she was born.

I got sicker and sicker each pregnancy (Piper was #4) and I only gained 1 pound with her so I guess that's a plus:) I hope your hurtburn goes away soon. It's no fun. Congrats again!

Wow! You look so good, and it's your third. You're amazing. I agree with you about the kids close together being a bad idea. I had so much energy with my first pregnancy, but with the second I was exhausted the whole 9 months. I am sorry I can't tell you it got better. :) I love your hair by the way.

Only 3 lbs!!! No way! I was so sick with Jen that I had to eat constantly to feel better - gaining a whopping 20 lbs. by 20 weeks. Jen was my worst pregnancy by far. Maybe each time they just get worse? :)

I feel your pain! This is pregnancy #4 for us, and it feels very different. I have just hit a super tired stage as well, and was so bummed thinking it was supposed to go away earlier! Yay on the weight gain! I've gained back the 2 that I lost, so at least that's something! And you look adorable, I didn't think your face looked any bigger when I saw you yesterday!

Good heavens child, how have you only gained 3 lbs. I thought I was doing great with Drew when I was 15 lbs lighter than I was with Parker. I can tell you now, though, I wasn't 3 lbs at 20 weeks. Lucky girl!! Can't wait to meet him. Do you have a name picked out?

baby P....does that mean you've picked out a name for him?? And ya, I hate being pregnant period, i was sick the whole time. It's hard too when you feel like crap with other kids to have to take care of. You look great though!

Ha, is this going by as fast for anyone else but me? I always loved when people would say that....wow that went by fast! Not really begin the preggers! Anywho you look awesome. And I do think you are a bit crazy having them so close, but hey there are pluses to that too! Oh and lastly....what does the P stand for? Phil jr? Love it!

YEAH!! I had no idea. So exciting! I am cracking up.... You and Nae are total opposites with your kids. I felt every pregnancy symptom more with my fourth. SO worth it. Congrats.

You look adorable! Ok by this point on my last pregnancy I had gained 40 pounds...so I pretty much hate you. j/k

My second time around, 4th if you count miscarriages was so intense as well. I thought maybe it was because I was a little older? LOL Also because I was chasing around Gracie. So I couldn't imagine chasing around a 1 1/2 year old and Koen! That is crazy. It is weird that every pregnancy is different even if it is the same sex. You have to let us in on the name...that is the best part!

Love ya
