An early birthday present!
So today was really warm and Ko and I wanted to go out and play. I was thinking about how we have nothing exciting to play with in our backyard, but didnt feel like chasing him around the park. Well when my mom was here in January she bought Koen this basketball hoop for his birthday. I decided to bust it out today figuring it would either be a week late or a few weeks early! What the heck! Since it was so warm, I decided to bust out my swimsuit and sit my large white self out in my chair for a little tan. 5 hours later when I went to the gym I was so dissapointed that I didnt get anything. When I changed I realized my face and chest were a little pink! YAHOO FOR SOME COLOR!

CUTE! And I'm jealous you got to sit outside...I most def need to do that. I'm planning on doing it this weekend cause it will be so nice! Saturday- 83 degrees and Sunday- 88 degrees....YAHOO!! Can't wait to go swimming with you on Memorial Day.
hahaha this cracks me up because yesterday we were watching America's Funniest HOme Videos and there were these clips of people shooting basketballs and the hoops falling on them. I just imagined the hook falling over Ko's head (like his going up through the net, so he doesn't get hurt) That would be funny!

Cute little KO!! I love the video of him... a little Michael Jordan!! One problem with this post though... direct quote "I decided to bust out my swimsuit and sit my large white self..." have you started smoking the wacky??? You're tiny!! Don't give the rest of us a complex! Although, I am okay with you calling yourself white though :)
Hi, thanks for the comment! and hey, they can be cousins too...We'll have to get together with Gina while you are here. Ko looks like he's having a blast, and since he has no clue when his b-day is, get as much use out of it as you can!

That boy is a natural...already doing slam dunks!!! Nice! I'm jealous that you got a little sun...summer can't come soon enough! Not sure how long you'll be in Utah, but if you have time I'll call Jenny and Danielle and we can all do lunch. :)

Alesha you are hilarious. Koen looks so cute. We have a basketball hoop too. Jace loves it- great toy!
I think you are suppose to fill the bottom with water or sand so the backboard does not fall over knocking the little one on his back. Oh well, Koen looks agile enough to get out of the way and it's probably a mess to empty when you are moving in a few months. Fun video and post.
