One last post...

From our family of 3....

Next time I write it will be with the addition of our little guy, I am sure of that. I am 39 weeks and 2 days preg and if he doesn't come before Tuesday, I will be having him cesarean that day. Baby's name is still undecided, but I think we are making progress. I am feeling great on the days that come with no back pain. Sometimes my lower back hurts so bad I feel like a 90 year old woman, other days I feel like a million bucks...today a million bucks, lets hope it can hold for 5 more days!
39 weeks

So here is one last post from our family of 3 with a few things we have been up to as of late.

** I was able to go to dinner with some of my best friends from Highschool while Sarah was in town. It was really fun to see them and catch up, especially as Sarah got engaged while she was here! YAHOO! We sure missed Kens, Mind, Miss, and Chels.
The girls, and the little ham who needed to be in the pic too!
Koen and Aunty Britty!
Koen started getting a little restless and then saw this fountain. I decided to take him out there and let him play. He loved dipping his feet in and making foot prints.

**While Phil was off graduating, my sister came up for almost the whole time. It was great. The kids played, we scrapbooked. The weather was actually nice and we did lots of fun stuff outside! Thanks to my cousin Kinder who lives in Daybreak we went to her splash pool twice and the lake out there. The kids loved it, and it was sun so so did I! We also met our friend Angie and her kids at Thanksgiving Point one day to see the animals! My sister and sister in law also took Koen to the park with them one day while I was tutoring...thats right, I am employed. haha I am tutoring a girl for Anatomy, it is great since I dropped my class for the summer it is nice to have that.

**After Koen's birthday last week we just laid low.(side note, yes I did make Koen's birthday cake. I get a little ambitious once a year and try to do something fun/festive) It is funny how I haven't gone to school the whole time I have had a kid and never felt "free" but in the last 2 weeks since I decided to drop my class I have felt like a new woman. I am really enjoying my "free" time that was filled with studying before. I will take advantage of that this summer, before school starts again in the fall.
Koen with his new scooter, helmet, and knee pads.

** On Sunday my brother blessed his new baby. I am excited for my baby to have a cousin so close in age. I know Koen has loved having Kade and Claire so close and this baby will get a cousin on both sides that are close too! We also had a little family party for Frank and Koen that day, Frank is one year and one day older than Koen. Special.
Frank, Koen and hey Claire didnt want to miss out
I couldnt resist adding this pic, because I think it is the last pic we took of the 3 of them together...I think they have grown a little. (6/5/06)
My brother Jeff, Kirstie and Baby Lydia

** Gina and I wanted to throw a little graduation party for our cute grads. How fun is it that best friends/brothers could both move to PA at the same time to attend graduate school, only two hours apart, both attend programs that were 3 years long and graduate at the same time? SPECIAL! Nate graduated from U of Pittsburgh in Law and Phil from LECOM in Pharmacy. We had a little party for them last night at my moms house, because of the rain(do I still live in Erie? You would think with this crappy weather!) and I think it turned out great. Thanks to my mom for letting us change it to her house and for all who came to congratulate the graduates!
Congrats Grads!

Cute grads!

My honey, me and all 39 weeks of baby!

**Today I finally finished getting baby stuff ready. I realized a couple days ago at the store that I didnt even have any diapers for this kid...opps! Or baby wash, lotion, pacifiers...I am a little under prepared. So we got some of that stuff at walmart the other night and today I put up the swing and got out the other baby things. The room has been pretty much done for a while now, except for the empty shelf which is waiting to have his first initial on it along with Koen's and a cute pic of the two of them. That will just have to wait I guess! My sisters friend made some of the things for my bedding along with rag quilts for both of them! I LOVE the way they turned out!

You have been BUSY! And you look adorable, by the way!

Now about your c-section...I'm surprised that your doc is having you wait until you're almost 40 weeks. My doc was willing to do mine at 38 1/2. I hope everything goes well. The second for me was much better than the first. Good luck with your new baby! I'm excited to hear what you guys name him!

Good luck with the birthing thing. Again, something I would never wish on anyone. Just remember, if they ask if you want an epidural, you say a big resounding "YES!" Lotsa drugs. But seriously, I hope everything goes well with that and your kid is healthy,

Yeah for a new baby! I am checking your blog often to check in.... Love his room. Really cute. I assume Lisa made the quilts? Darling. You are cute in a swimsuit pregnant. I was not. We went to the wave pool when I was six months along with Sienna. Tanner took one look at me in my suit and said... "Mom, you look embarrassing!" Thanks bud. It was fun to see you and Ko at Thanksgiving point. Good luck with baby... I'm excited to see him and hear his name!
