One of my favorite traditions! We have started doing it at our clubhouse which is nice and convenient. After much costume dismay the only one I could get B to wear was the Doctor. I tried a monkey and a pirate which he really likes both, but apparently NOT dressing up in them! I almost went for his Halloween PJ's.
Koen School Parade-
Since Koen is in afternoon kindergarten they had just a small parade. He decided he wanted to be a Transformer for school but he wasn't able to wear the mask so we painted his face. Brigs was not happy when Koen was not around and he couldn't run and go where ever he wanted. But as you can see when Koen is with him he is happy as a lark!
Trunk or Treat-
The ward trunk or treat is always a good time with plenty of treats. After B not loving the stroller at Koen's school parade we opted for the monkey leash. This worked out pretty great. He loves the monkey! Except for him wanting to eat every piece of candy right when he got it...why wait, right? Koen had a great time running around with his buddies including his twin Optimus Prime Bennett.
Halloween Day!
We had a nice low key Halloween day! It was nice not having to get Koen all dressed up for school. Instead we were all festive in our Halloween attire! Then we went to my mom and dad's for dinner and trick or treating. Koen really wanted to see this house that does an all out light show only on Halloween. It is in my parent's neighborhood so that where we went. We started out with the stroller for Brigs and he was in it for all of 3 seconds before we decided he was gonna need his monkey. So, we brought the stroller in case he got tired but he ran/jumped the entire time while the 5 year old rode in the stroller! HA! B loved it so much, he would say "tri tre, day doo, welcome bye bye, yater" (trick or treat, thank you, your welcome, bye bye , see ya later) at ever house! So fun!
This is a common at our house, K scaring B and B crying. HAHA!
