Giveaway for sweet Ruby

One of the many friends I have made through this unlucky club of BLM's(baby loss mama) is Kristin. I was introduced to her through one of my favorite friends Amber. Amber lives in my neighborhood and her and Kristin are long time friends. Strangely and sadly enough Amber had two friends loss babies only a few months apart. She thought is fitting to connect us and it has been great. I feel so lucky to have been able to meet Kristin in person this past summer and for her to have come as a part of our Pierce is Fierce team for the Race for Grief.

She is doing giveaways in honor of her sweet baby Ruby. Ruby lived on this Earth for a short 15 days and Kristin, her family and friends have done a giveaway for each day that she was here. I feel so honored to be able to be apart, to know Kristin and to know Ruby through her amazing mom. It is crazy how connected you can feel to people you hardly know that share a similar experience.

Check out Kristin's blog to see how she has encouraged people to do acts of service in honor of Ruby. It is such a hard thing trying to figure out how you want to remember your angel and what fits for your family. I think what Kristin is doing is simply wonderful.

Kristin's only criteria for the giveaway is that it is something red, Ruby's color. I thought over what to give as I am not super crafty but when I realized the coincidence in name of something I was really anticipating I knew this was it. So with out further ado my giveaway is.....

Taylor Swifts new album RED

This little baby can be yours by doing the following:

1. Leave me a comment telling me your favorite CD/artist.
2. Go above and beyond today to do an act of service in honor of Ruby.
3.Lastly hug your little ones (or loved ones) a little tighter today, just because we can.

Don't forget to leave me your email or a way to contact you in your comment. :)

This giveaway will close on Saturday night(27th) at midnight.

Every time I hear about another BLM, my heart breaks again.
Having Little Bub come to our family in many ways has healed that hurt, and sometimes it has intensified it because I see all the time and moments we could have had with Ella.
How I miss my girl. How I hurt for Kristin and you and all the other BLM's. I will, most definitely hug my baby boy tighter today. And I will search for someone for whom I can do a service.

For Ruby.

I don't have a FAVORITE artist...I do have a favorite genre. Country. My radio/iPod never leaves a country song.

My heart aches for you even though I've never met you. I am Kristin's cousin. My heart always aches for her too.

I will do service today and hug both of my little ones. Thank you for the reminder.

I think over all, my favorite artist/album was Amy Grant's House of Love. (HAHA). I don't think young people today even know who she is! But I listened to that thing all the time. I love The Warburtons and I love Taylor Swift and I hope I win!

What a great giveaway. My cute 3 year old loves miss Taylor.
Not sure if this is my favorite but what that takes me back and that I really love. Jewel Pieces of You. I plan on taking cookies to those on my street. Cause cookies always make things a little bit better. And thanks for the reminder I will give my littles a very meaningful hug today. Cause you never know what tomorrow might bring. Thanks for posting.

My Favorite album right now is anything by Eric Church, Thanks to my 4 year old how would LOVE to go to his "contest" in November.

My act of service seems silly but my daughter has a cough and I am keeping her home from preschool today because the little girl she sits next to has a new baby sister due in the next week or 2. I decided now was not a good time to spread the love. Trust me, this is torture for both of us.

I will definitely hug my baby today. There is not a day that goes by that she would let me not.

Perfect for this giveaway! I'd have to say current artist as of late is Eric Church. My act of service was making a meal for once last night. I am pregnant and havent feel my best but I wanted to make my hubby some real food after a long work day. #3. Done! I do it constantly to my 1.5 year old! Thank you for doing this! So great!

I like all types of music, but lately I have been on a country/pop kick. I just had a baby three months ago so I guess she isn't really my "baby" anymore but becoming a mother is my biggest and greatest achievement. I love her more then anything. My act of service was helping yesterday with clean up on the jobs that werent mine so we could get done. I also stayed at my moms last night so my husband who was running a fever could get a good nights rest. He does too much and I could tell he needed it. Perfect giveaway for Ruby. She was a blessing to all.

My husband and I helped a girl that was stranded. Her car battery was not working, so we helped her get it going and made sure she was able to drive home safe. I will hug my loved ones, sure wish I could give little Ruby a hug and my Dad who is up in Heaven with her. (I'm Kristin's favorite Aunt). email: cathy@utahcounty.gov.

I think my fab is a toss up between Faith Hill and Martins Mcbride! I have been trying to do service for my hubby who has taken great care of me and our family as we just welcomed a new little one into our family. He has had to go back to work and because he took time off he is behind and super busy so ive been trying to have dinner ready and the house presentable so he can relax and spend time with our boys! I will snuggle my baby and hug my two other boys tight today cause I amvery blessed! Thanks Diana. My email is rdbevell@hotmail.com

I love most of all the new country! My favorites change all the time! Right now I love Jason Aldean, Band Perry, Carrie Underwood, little Big Town, the list could go on and on! I squeeze my grandkids tight everytime I get the chance! Love them so much!

I would have to say Katy perry is number 1 in my book.
As for service I made Carmel marshmallow popcorn to those that brought me dinner this last week, after having baby #4. So thankful for great friends. Snuggled my sweet new baby boy and cry almost everyday when I do, to think of all the angel babies I know and that have hit close to home for me. Sweet ruby, pierce, and joy! Your mothers love you, and are so strong for those around them. You are great examples of who I need to be in life!

Hmmm...I think my favorite artist and album is Tim McGraw's Set This Circus Down...at least for today. I think it changes regularly. :)

I haven't done any service yet today, but I will think of something by the end of the day.

My favorite lately has to be Neon Trees or going back to the good ol' days and mixing it up with a little Goo Goo Dolls. Next week I will probably be back on my Adele kick but for now that is what I am rockin! I have been babysitting my brothers kids for him while they are in CA, so that is my act of service and I have been loving on my little rug rats all day. I am grateful for things like this to remind me to take a minute and do that.

Now go ahead and pick me...mmmmkay!?

This is a fun giveaway! I love your family pictures on the side. Your boys are all beautiful.

I don't listen to music much any more, but I loved Christina Aguilera for a long time. :)

I let my husband go fishing this morning, even though I love Saturday mornings as a family. Doing service was the only reason I let him go. :)

I have hugged my little ones a little tighter all month. Ruby (and all angels) are such a sweet reminder of love.
