Tis the season

The time has come for all things Christmas. I love it. I love the parties, the programs, the family time I love it. Here is what we have been up to so far...

*Koen's Christmas program*

They are so cute. Each class memorized a poem and they performed several songs. Of course Koen (being the product of what is happening)  had his own class at school (in our playroom, with 1 student, Beckham and an occasional Brigs) who where also preparing their own program. He is so funny and cute. My mom and dad where able to come which was sweet of them. The kids did a great job. I am so proud of Koen, what a good kid.

* Decorating the tree and the boys trees*

The boys were very excited to decorate the trees. I love that they are a little older and into all the details.

*Brigs Christmas Program*

I always feel like Brigs is so little. I am sure it is because he is the baby in our family right now. I kept thinking "he isn't going to sit thought this" or "he will probably be the kid escorted off" but it never fails that he surprises me and always does awesome.

They sang a few songs, rang bells, wore adorable little reindeer antlers, the big kids had reading parts and Brigs class recited a poem together.

I took a lick of my peppermint stick
and it was ever yummy.
It use to be on my Christmas tree
but now it's in my tummy.

Him saying it is too cute.  That was a must on video. After they had Santa and Mrs Claus come and my boys got to sit with Mrs Claus.

*Pierce's place for Christmas*

Brigs and I finally got over to take down Pierce's fall stuff this week. I had been waiting until I got him a Christmas tree. I really want him to have one. However I figured the stuff we have is better for now than Thanksgiving stuff. Brigs wanted to take down everyone elses stuff too..."It's not Thanksgiving time anymore, it is Christmas."

After we put his stuff up and I was taking the turkey out of his tree I looked over to see Brigs just telling Pierce about stuff. It was literally so adorable.

Bowling with the Petersons

One of our very favorites. It is perfect for all ages and serious fun for all. We have the cute little 6 lane bowling ally and area all to ourselves. Poor Brigy got a bowling ball dropped on his head. {yes, that really happened:(} After that he was done bowling but was happy as a lark on Dad's phone. Thank you Nana and Grandpa, it was so fun as always.

 The Peterson family

Night in Bethlehem {ward party}

I was seriously taken back by how awesome our ward party was. They had definitely gone above and beyond for this party. It was decorated amazingly, they had booths with different activities that all centered around Bethlehem. It was really cool.

We are off to a great start and it is just that....a start! Lots more fun to come!

We love December too. So many fun things to do. I think it's funny that Weston and I unintentionally photo bombed your family picture at the ward party :). And seriously, Briggs talking to Pierce? How sweet is that.
