Myla's Blessing

Myla's blessing was a super special day for our family. Considering the last time we blessed a baby it was far less than tradition and more the beginning of the end. Not so much a blessing for this life but for Pierce to be able to return to Heavenly Father shortly there after. It was exciting to be able to have a normal blessing this time around and it was for sure a sweet thing to experience.

Myla's dress was given to us by Nana Joan and Papa Peterson and hand made by Nana's sister Janet. It is beautiful and perfect. I loved the longer sleeve seeing how it is winter (not something you easily find) I love the details that are so perfeclyt done. She even did a sweet little M on her slip. Perfection.

Myla was blessed by her dad on December 1st, 2013 and the blessing was perfect. My cute neighbor wrote it all down and handed it to Phil after, so sweet and thoughtful. My brother in law also recorded it. I love that people think of these things. It is so nice to have Pierce's recorded, I love being able to look back at something so special.

After we celebrated Myla with a gathering. Sweet Myla slept through the whole thing and wasn't held by a soul. ;) We are really trying our best to limit the amount of people she is exposed to and keep this little missy healthy. So far we have done pretty well.
