Myla {fourth month}

*Homegirl has been having some sleeping issues! It seems like the day she turned 3 months she decided to wake up multiple times at night! Eeek! No thanks! Luckily that only lasted a week or so but it was rough. She is back to her usually 6-8 hour stretches but HATES her bed. At least the swing isn't on right??

*Ears pierced!!! The day Myla turned 3 months she got her ears pierced. I always knew I would pierce her ears. I figure you may as well do it when they are too little to anticipate the pain. Most likely she will like it and if she doesn't she can always take them out. And for right now it makes her look more girly. I love it. She hated being confined while they tried to make teeny dots on tiny ears in the same spot for like 20 minutes lol The actual piercing was like 10 seconds of a super sad cry and done.

* No more snuggling for this little one she is all forward facing and checking things out! Still loves to stand. My neighbor calls her the "straight baby" haha She has also started being more interested in what's going on while nursing. We often have to find a quiet spot {away from Brigs ;) } Every once in a while I get a snuggle...and I savor it.

*I hadn't given Myla a bottle since before Thanksgiving and that wasn't a super wise choice. Now she doesn't want to take it. We are working on that.

* I weighed her shortly after turning 3 months and she weighed 10.7 lbs. Such a little miss.

*spending time with cousin Dane and watching him surpass her in size. His mom keeps saying he could eat her for lunch! haha

*of course #especiallymadeformyla clothes are happening, and blankets! Grandma finished Myla's quilt for her bed! LOVE IT!

*fussy time at night is fewer and farther between, maybe 2 times a week. Still in the evening around dinner time. Makes dinner, homework and bedtime challenging when Phil is at work.

*laughed for the first time on 1/26. She is hard to get to laugh. It was like 3 little giggles and we've only heard it a handful of times. Usually we get more of a weird grunt. :)

*I think a growth spurt was happening this month because she was eating more often (3-3 1/2 hours) and had those funky night wakings.

*wore her first 3-6 month clothes on 1/29 (3 2/3 months) still fits in 0-3 too except for some onsies.

*L-O-V-E loves her hands! They are non stop in her month....non stop. I think she would suck something if I didn't swaddle her so tight! haah

*having a little sister in still not getting old...for any of us!

*this month I decided this is my favorite age (so far) I am absolutely loving 3-4 months. She is so happy. Just my voice makes her break out in a big smile. I love watching her figure out the things around her, and she can't move yet. ;)
